I Write Like.....
Did you ever want to know which famous writer you write like? Check out the "I Write Like" link below. This website provides a statistical analysis tool, which analyzes your word choice and writing style and compares them with those of famous writers.
Jot down any text in the English language (blog post, journal entry, comment, chapter of your unfinished book, etc. For reliable results, include at least a few paragraphs.
I wouldn't take this too seriously though, as famous writers who tried it out were analyzed to write like someone other than themselves and too many people are analyzed that they write like Stephen King, but it's a fun diversion and may inspire you to get serious about writing again.

Help Me Save Sea Turtles through Defenders of Wildlife
According to Defenders of Wildlife, there have been devastating effects, not only to the environment, but to wildlife, due to the continuous BP Gulf oil spill. Thus far, there have been 1,866 confirmed dead birds with over 2,896 impacted, 463 confirmed dead sea turtles with over 660 impacted, and 59 confirmed dead marine animals with over 64 impacted! Keep in mind that these are only the number of wildlife that have been recovered (actual numbers of dead and injured wildlife are likely to be much higher). Also, the effects of this massive spill will continue to decimate the environment and wildlife for YEARS to come!
Hundreds of sea turtles, birds, marine mammals and coastal communities are paying the price for millions of gallons of oil still gushing in the Gulf of Mexico.
